Professional Christmas Light Installation in Schaumburg

Here's the short version: we hang commercial-grade LED displays, keep them working all season, take them down in January, and store them until next year — for one flat price you can see below before you ever pick up the phone.

A lot of homes here are 1970s and 80s ranches and split-levels with clean, simple rooflines. That works in your favor. Simpler lines mean faster installs, and faster installs keep most quotes in the middle of our range rather than the top. Two-story homes and steeper pitches land higher, and your quote will spell out exactly why — no mystery math.

You'll also see exactly what the price includes, because "installation" means different things to different companies. For us it means the lights, the install, the repairs, the takedown, and the storage — the whole season, one number.

How Our Christmas Light Installation Works

It starts with a photo. Send your address and a picture of the front of your home, and we'll usually have a quote back within one business day — for most single-story homes, no site visit needed. Once you approve the design and price, we schedule your install anywhere from October 15 through December 10, and the display can stay dark until you're ready to flip it on.

On install day the crew custom-cuts every run to your roofline, sets the timer, and hauls away all the packaging. If anything fails mid-season, we fix it free. In January we're back for takedown, and everything goes into labeled storage at our shop.

Christmas Light Installation Cost in Schaumburg

Most Schaumburg roofline installs run $600–$1,300 for the season, and full-property displays run $1,400–$3,000. We publish these numbers because most holiday lighting companies in this area keep pricing behind a quote form — we'd rather you know the range before you call.

Install typeTypical seasonal price
Roofline only$600–$1,300
Full property$1,400–$3,000

Every quote is all-in: commercial-grade LED lights we supply and own, custom-fit installation, mid-season maintenance, January takedown, and off-season storage. Not included: permanent lighting systems and tree removal or trimming.

Three things move your number: roofline footage, number of stories, and roof pitch and access. A single-story ranch with easy ladder access sits near the bottom of the range; a tall split-level with a steep pitch sits near the top. Want lights that never come down? Permanent LED systems run $20–$40 per linear foot — see our Christmas light installation service page.

Your Satisfaction Guaranteed

If something on your display fails, we fix it — that's the guarantee, and it's included, not sold separately as a service plan. A bulb run goes dark, a timer drifts, wind pulls a clip loose: call us and we make it right at no charge, all season long.

Behind that promise is a licensed and insured crew of our own employees, not subcontractors. We carry full liability coverage, and certificates of insurance are available on request, including for HOA approval. And because takedown and storage are already in your price, the season ends the way it started — with us doing the work and you doing none of it.

Testimonials

We're bringing the same crew that earned these Google landscaping reviews to holiday lighting — our newest service.

I have used Midwest Breeze for my personal home for the last 2 years and have been very happy with each interaction. When I needed help at a client site with a landscape project I hired them. They completed the task to both my satisfaction and my clients. It is great when a company can make everyone happy. The best part was they came in on budget and early on the timeline.

Russell Snella — Google review (landscaping)

I have used Midwest Breeze Landscaping several times in the past, and will be using them much more in the future. They are not afraid of the challenging projects, and work hard to earn your business. Dedicated and hard working, they make it happen no matter what. You will not be disappointed.

George Arvanites — Google review (landscaping)

I'm very happy with the work they have done for me. Kosta goes out of his way to accommodate his customers in any way he can. His staff members are also so professional and polite. I would recommend him for any landscaping a person needs to have done.

Service Area

Our holiday lighting routes cover Schaumburg and the surrounding northwest suburbs, including Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village, Roselle, Streamwood, and Hanover Park. We also run winter-long snow removal routes through the same area, and plenty of customers bundle the two — lights installed in the fall, driveway cleared all winter, one company to call. The tighter the route, the faster the service — which is why we keep our lighting area compact instead of promising the whole metro. If your town isn't listed, ask; if we can fit you into an existing route, we will.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are professional Christmas light installation services worth it?

For most homeowners, yes — as long as you count everything the price replaces. Ours covers commercial-grade lights, an insured crew on the ladder instead of you, free mid-season repairs, January takedown, and storage. Add up the hours and hardware of doing all that yourself each year, and one all-season price usually wins.

Do you provide the lights, and is maintenance included?

Both. We supply and own commercial-grade LED light lines, custom cut to your roofline — you never buy a strand. And because they're our lights, keeping them working is our job: if a run fails or a timer drifts mid-season, we repair or replace it at no charge.

When should I schedule Christmas light installation?

Book by November 15 — earlier if you want your pick of dates. Installs run October 15 through December 10, and calendars fill from the front. A popular move: book an October install, then leave the display dark until Thanksgiving weekend. You get the early slot without the early glow.

How much does Christmas light installation cost?

Our published ranges are above: roofline installs typically $600–$1,300 and full-property displays $1,400–$3,000, all-inclusive for the season. Where you land depends on roofline footage, stories, and roof pitch. Send an address and photo through the form and we'll turn a real number around fast.
