Light Up Your Holidays with Professional Christmas Light Installation
Skip the ladder this year. Our crew measures your roofline, cuts commercial-grade LED strands to fit it exactly, and secures everything with professional clips that come down clean in January. You never buy, untangle, or store a single strand — we supply the lights, own them, and keep them working all season.
Installs run October 15 through December 10, and if a section goes dark mid-season, we come back and fix it at no charge. Whether you own a newer build with long, clean rooflines or an older home tucked under mature trees, we design the display around your house — not a one-size template.
Why Choose Midwest Breeze
We're a landscaping company first, which means the crew on your roof in November is the same trained, insured team that works outdoor projects all year — not seasonal hires who disappear in January. Holiday lighting is our newest service, and we run it the way we run everything else: show up on time, do what we quoted, and answer the phone when you call.
We carry full licensing and insurance, and certificates of insurance are available for HOA approval. When you call in February with a question, the phone still gets answered — we're here all year, not just for ten weeks.
Popular Holiday Lighting Styles
Most projects start with the roofline — warm white C9 bulbs along the gutter line and peaks are the classic look that fits nearly every home. From there, you can layer in wrapped tree trunks, lighted walkways, and greenery on doors and railings until the display matches what you pictured. Prefer bold color? Designer displays swap classic white for patterns you choose. Every style below uses commercial-grade LED strands that stay bright through snow and ice, and during your estimate we'll tell you which looks suit your roofline and trees best.

How Our Service Works
Four steps, start to finish:
- Free estimate. Send your address and a photo, or call — we'll price the display and lock your install date.
- Installation. Crews install between October 15 and December 10, custom-fitting every strand and testing the full display before we leave.
- Mid-season maintenance. A dark bulb or a storm-loosened strand? We come back and fix it at no extra charge.
- Takedown and storage. In January we remove everything, and your lights stay in our storage facility until next season.
Next year, we call you first, confirm the design, and reinstall — no re-measuring, no re-planning, no garage full of tangled strands.

Christmas Light Installation Cost in Glenview
Most Glenview roofline installs run $800–$1,800, and full-property displays with trees, walkways, and greenery typically land between $2,000 and $4,200.
| Install type | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Roofline only | $800–$1,800 |
| Full property | $2,000–$4,200 |
Every price includes the commercial-grade LED lights themselves, a custom-fit install, mid-season maintenance, January takedown, and off-season storage — there's no separate rental or removal fee. Not included: permanent lighting systems, and tree removal or trimming. Three things move your quote most: roofline footage, the number of stories, and roof pitch and access.
Want lights that never come down? Permanent LED systems run $20–$40 per linear foot — see our Christmas light installation service page for details.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the lights handle harsh winter weather?
Yes. We install commercial-grade LED strands rated for snow, ice, and freezing temperatures, secured with professional clips rather than staples or nails. If a storm knocks something loose, mid-season fixes are included at no charge.
Do you install lights on trees and shrubs?
We do. Trunk and branch wrapping on mature trees is one of our most requested add-ons, and we also light shrubs, walkways, and garden beds. Tell us what you want lit on the estimate form and we'll price it in.
When should I book my installation?
Book by November 15. Installs run October 15 through December 10, and the calendar fills from the front — earlier bookings get first pick of install dates. Your lights can go up early and stay off until you're ready to flip them on.
What happens to the lights after the holidays?
We come back in January, take everything down, and store the lights in our facility until next season. Takedown and storage are included in your price, so there's nothing to box up or find room for in the garage.
How does the design process work?
You tell us the look you want — classic warm white, full color, roofline only, or the whole property — and we quote it from your address and a photo. On install day we cut every strand to fit your roofline exactly, so the finished display looks built for the house, because it is.
Glowing Reviews
Holiday lighting is our newest service — these Google reviews are from our landscaping customers, installed by the same crew.
Midwest Breeze did an awesome job burying my downspout for better drainage. The crew showed up on time, walked me through their plan, and made sure the new drainage line was routed in a way that actually makes sense for my yard long-term. Overall, I'm very happy with the result and would definitely use Midwest Breeze again for future landscaping or drainage work.

I'm very happy with the work they have done for me. Kosta goes out of his way to accommodate his customers in any way he can. His staff members are also so professional and polite. I would recommend him for any landscaping a person needs to have done.
Nancy Gerstmayr — Google review (landscaping)
I have used Midwest Breeze Landscaping several times in the past, and will be using them much more in the future. They are not afraid of the challenging projects, and work hard to earn your business. Dedicated and hard working, they make it happen no matter what. You will not be disappointed.

Service Areas
Midwest Breeze doesn't keep a Glenview office — we're based in Addison and serve the North Shore with dedicated seasonal routes. That routing is why early booking matters: crews work in efficient loops, and the November calendar fills from the front.
Our winter crews also run snow removal along the same routes, so bundling both means one company handles your entire winter. If you're in a neighboring Cook County community, send the form anyway — we'll confirm you're on the route. Ready to skip the ladder? Call (630) 827-9621 or get your free estimate.
